Using the proven Em-lite GPRS smart meter with the TOPUPMETERS platform provides a tokenless solution for prepayment. Tenants can purchase energy from the TopupMeters website to instantly top-up their energy meter from anywhere in the world. Landlords and other property managers benefit from a simple and low maintenance solution for prepayment electric and gas metering. No need for collecting coins or managing vendor equipment for RFID cards, everything is done online.

Topupmeters is a subscription service that can be paid annually or monthly. The service is chargeable per meter on the date of activation.
Annual subscription costs recouped through daily standing charges
The TopupMeters service is charged annually as a subscription from TopupMeters Ltd. The annual charges are calculated from the costs of payment transactions, cellular network charges and system costs. This cost can be recouped from the tenant through the standing daily charge.
